1.1. Project status
WattCoin is a concept under development. As of this revision the coin has not been issued, there is no trading and no legal entity of the project has been registered. The site describes the design and mechanics of a future system.
1.2. Not an offer or advice
The site materials, the demonstration exchange and wallet and the Whitepaper are for information and education. They are not a public offer, an offer of securities or financial instruments, or investment, financial, tax or legal advice.
1.3. Demonstration calculations
The calculators, exchange, wallet and scenarios run on demonstration parameters. Their results illustrate the mechanics and are not a price forecast or a promise of any outcome. The money and coins in the demonstrations are not real.
1.4. Risks
Any future participation in the system involves risks, including price, credit, technical and regulatory risk. They are listed in Section 11 of the Whitepaper.
1.5. Forward-looking statements
Plans, stages and parameters may change. The latest published revision of the Whitepaper prevails.
2Privacy policy#
2.1. Who processes the data
The data are processed by the WattCoin project team. Contact for data matters: [email protected].

2.3. Basis for processing
Your consent, which you give by submitting a form. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
2.4. Storage and access
The data are stored on the site server; notifications of applications are delivered to the project email. Only the project administrators have access. The data are not sold or passed to third parties for advertising. They are kept for as long as needed for the stated purpose or until you ask for deletion.
2.5. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, and unsubscribe from the newsletter — write to [email protected] or via the Contact page.
2.6. Cookies and browser storage
The site uses only technically necessary cookies and anonymised visit statistics. There are no advertising trackers. The demonstration exchange and wallet keep their state in your browser’s local storage; you can clear it with the reset button in the demonstration or in your browser settings.
3Terms of use of the site#
3.1. Materials and name
The name WattCoin, the proprietary formula and the site materials belong to the project. Materials may be quoted with a reference to watt-coin.org. The exact parameters of the formula are know-how and are not published.
3.2. The site “as is”
We aim for accuracy but do not rule out errors and may change the content of the site without notice. Decisions made on the basis of the site materials are your own.
